Whether you’re searching for a brand to support or an organization championing ethical fashion, GISM is your go-to resource for discovering those making a real impact. But it’s more than just a map. By gathering these stories, we’re building a global community of changemakers—practitioners, consumers, brands, and organizations—all united under Threading Change’s vision of a Feminist Fossil Fuel-Free Fashion Future.
The GISM is designed to be both your go-to shopping guide and an educational resource. To ensure that every fashion brand and organization featured meets high standards for sustainability and ethics, we developed six rigorous criteria that form the foundation of the map.
While all featured brands and organizations identify as sustainable and ethical, some are still on their journey to fully realizing that commitment. By showcasing their stories, we aim to highlight brands and organizations that:

Are dedicated to continuously improving their supply cycles and practices
Our goal is to support a more fair and equitable fashion industry—one that prioritizes both people and the planet.
How you can participate

Please fill out the questions with as much detail as possible; point form is acceptable. If you would like to skip filling out the form and have a Zoom call to gather your story instead, please send us an email with your information.
