Hi! I’m Eden, a student based in Vancouver and small business owner who sells second hand items on Poshmark, an e-commerce platform. With my business, I’ve rescued over 100 pieces of clothing and household items from ending up in the landfill.

Driven by a desire to fight against current fashion norms which sensationalize the new and trendy rather than the slow and sustainable, I joined the Clothing Changemakers Program. Through CCM, I gained insight into the innovative projects that other youth are leading to work towards a fossil-fuel free fashion future.

I’m Taylor. I joined the clothing changemaker program to explore the fashion industry’s impact on people and the planet.

With a passion for intentional design, this program has been both informative and motivating—I’ve learned to mend my own clothing, better understand materials, and even engage my local MP on textile policy.

I'm Aditi Gautam, a freelance social media manager, content writer & designer and a student. I am passionate about slow and sustainable fashion and actively volunteer with Fashion Revolution India, the Slow Fashion Movement's India chapter, and Remake. Through these organizations, I work on social media campaigns, events, and webinars to advocate for ethical, sustainable fashion practices and policies.

Joining the Clothing ChangeMakers Program has been a pivotal experience, allowing me to broaden my skills and explore new ways to create positive change within my community. The program's tasks, such as reaching out to brands to join the Global Innovation Story Map or contacting local representatives to advocate for Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), have pushed me to think creatively about how I can contribute to systemic change. Along the way, I’ve developed new skills, like sewing and mending, while gaining valuable insights into advocacy and community impact.

Dayana is a fashion student passionate about spreading awareness of fashion circularity in her country.

Recognizing the immense waste generated by the fashion industry each year, she advocates for a shift toward the circular economy and believes in the need for more voices to champion sustainable practices.

She is dedicated to building a community focused on creating systemic solutions for a more responsible and regenerative fashion industry.
